The Arduino compatible kit for an article program is going well. We have a bunch of great articles which will be posted at about one article a week. Maybe we should up that a bit. The authors are anxious to see their articles published. Thank you for the great submissions.
We should send out a bunch of kits tomorrow. I sent each author a brief email letting you know that the items should ship. If you did not receive an email from me then please let me know at david@uchobby.com right away. We have had a flood of emails over the last few weeks and could have missed something. Every article submission I have seen earned a reward. Again, if you did not hear from me by Email, I need to know right away.
There are still some Arduino Compatible Bare Bones kits available and we have more of the LED kits as well. If you have an electronics hobby related article waiting in your mind, better get it submitted soon.
We pay for the giveaway items primarily with revenue from the advertisements on the site. It may be a short time before enough accumulates and there are some kits left but the next giveaway item needs to be decided soon. We try to keep the item cost under $20/each and the shipping under $5/each. Any suggestions?
I really like the Modern Device Company Arduino Compatible kits so I may buy another round. Someone made a good sugestion for the AVR Butterfly evaluation boards. Let me know what you think in the comments.

The AVR butterfly is a good idea.
Another kit you may like to build and integrate into some electronic projects is Sparkfun Electronic’s USB Bit Wacker kit. It’s a USB I/O board with all through-hole components, so no tricky SMD work.

Brandonu,
Great sugestion! I am studying the Bit Wacker and it does look like a good option.
It seems that I have not received any mail for the Arduino Kit
Let me known about that dfowler

Hello guys,
I have just first try the Arduino in my protoboard. It’s just awesome and very simple to use.
After downloading the compiler, i have tested with the LED Fade example a work fine in only 10 minutes!
Here is my post with a video demonstration (spanish):

Okey, when i have some “more complex” proyect done, i promise to submit as an article to uHobby, for sure!
dfowler: many thank you, you rocks!
pK, fantastic video. The music was great as well as the Arduino. What software did you use to create the video with captions?
Hello dfowler,
Isn’t the better software but works fine for upload to YouTUBE or similar. Unfortunately i do not know any decent video editing program for Linux (VirtualDUB maybe), so i must go on Windows to do it…
Im simply using Windows Movie Maker to do some fun with video
I do lot of fun this weekend with the Arduino, is a impresive development platform!
Stay tuned and see you soon
Hello guy, you have more stuff from spain in you inbox
See you soon!
