im no micro controller expert but i have been looking to do the same with the nokia 3310. The 3650 looks to have the same size screen in order to make the transplant but could someone have a look into whether the connections are the same. anyone who can be bothered to look and then finds the answer could you plase email me at pixxx18@hotmail.com thanks much

Hi,

thanks mate for the trick. I tried it today on my 1112. it worked. But i guess that the contrast should be tunned and the white is a little bit bluish and except the menu icons, nothing else is suited for color display. I’m woundering if i couldn’t play a litttle bit with the firmware to fix the white color and contrast and exploit a little bit the color screen.

If you are near a PathMark (East Coast Supermarket), they currently have a “security” bit set for 5.00 dollars, which has security torxs bits T10-T45 and normal torx T1-T9, including T6 and T5.5 and T5, standard cellphone sized security screws.
