I could be wrong about my last post but the avr Logic analiser looks very useful and I look forward to trying it this week.

It would seem to me java would be better for writing the UI than this extension called processing maby a nice library of stuff would bridge the gap otherwise people are perpetualy learning new languages. It is like arduino and GCC c. The arduino is C with a nice wrapper that makes things easier … but if you keep it in c & write a good set of c libraries and functions… well the same adaptations are used. Also the java GUI library would seem to do some of thowse things if you kept it in java. and used some of the newer or more complex functions.
